Great service, great room, great people and great food. We have stayed at the Sebel in the city and The Hunter Valley and this experience failed in comparison and I fear if this is what will continue to be offered during these uncertain times through COVID and its affects to the tourism sector, the Sebel Kiama won’t last as there are other places where you can stay which is cheaper and of better quality.
Many surfing competitions are held here every year.

The Kiama Coast Walk is a free and accessible walk spanning 22 kms from Minnamurra Railway Station to Werri Beach in Gerringong.
If the water is less than spectacular, try the Little Blowhole just south of town. Met by welcoming friendly staff on arrival. The room is very spacious and comfortable.
I contacted the hotel on our return home to alert them of this issue.Good room and awsome view.. need to work on more for the restaurant.Great location, super clean, nice modern decor, friendly staff and amazing restaurants.
We had dinner one night but cancelled the second night. These include Boyds Beach – Kiama Downs, Bombo Beach – Bombo, Surf Beach – Kiama, Easts Beach and Caravan Park – Kiama Heights, Kendalls Beach – Kiama and Mystics Beach – Minnamurra River.

Staff mostly put us off eating there but we did! The staff are the best I have experienced in a long time. Bombo Beach is predominantly a surfing beach, with strong rips which can create hazardous conditions for swimmers. Join for a guided adventure along the serpentine estuary of the Minnamurra River. While in the area, you should take the chance to walk around the headland – which features the remains of an abandoned quarry – to reach the rocky coastline on the other side. It’s on show at the at Surf Beach on Wednesdays.
